2020 was a rough year for cinema. Not only were theaters closed for a majority of the year due to the pandemic, but many films were pushed to 2021. You really had to know where to look for good films this past year due to strange release schedules, abrupt VOD releases and movies going straight to streaming services (of which there are many now). Below I have singled out my 10 favorites along with a plethora of notables. On with the list!
The new year kicks off with a whole host of brand new TV shows, movies, books, and home video releases. Of course, there are some returning favorites as well. Below I have singled out the 10 most noteworthy releases for the month. Scope it out!
Although there are bound to be plenty of yet to be announced TV series and or surprises, there is already a lot to look forward to in terms of series that we know are on the horizon. In no specific order (well, except for number one), I have listed ten series that I will surely be watching the second they drop. On with the list!
A cloud of uncertainty reigns over 2021 so this list could ultimately be rather pointless (much like the 2020 one). As of right now, Warner is planning on releasing their titles theatrically and on HBOMax so we all might be able to see some major releases at least. As for the titles going straight to theaters, who knows what the theatrical situation will be like. Heck, movie theaters haven’t been open where I live since March. At any rate, I have whipped up a list of the 10 films I am personally looking forward to the most in 2021.
With a severe lack of movies in 2020, people were able to take solace in the fact that TV shows were still being released on both TV and through streaming services. Thankfully, there was a great deal to watch while we all quarantined even though there was a lot of mediocrity to sift through. Below I have listed my 10 personal favorite shows of 2020 along with some notables. Let the list begin!
As the dreadful year (that feels like years) finally comes to a close, the studios are lining up their heavy hitters for December. Of course, there are some big shows, games, and even food items being released as well. Below I have listed the 10 biggest releases in my humble opinion. On with the list!
Now that “The New Mutants” has been released on home video, I figured I’d make an updated ranking list on all of the X-Men universe films. As far as we all know, these 13 films will be everything we see before the X-Men universe is reborn in the MCU. We still don’t know what the future of Deadpool is though! Anyway, enough of my yammering. On with the list!
Although Christmas, Hanukkah, and holiday shopping will be a lot different this year amidst a pandemic, people across the globe will still be shopping for the holidays in stores or online on Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday, or any day really. In order to make things easier for you, I have compiled a handy list of 4Ks, Blu-rays, Books and Albums that I would recommend picking up as a gift for a loved one or yourself. On with the list!
With today being Halloween, I thought I’d write up a list of 10 horror movies to check out for this holiday. These titles aren’t the obvious ones like “Halloween,” “Scream,” “Friday The 13th” or what have you but rather underrated titles that deserve more attention. On with the spooky list!
With the holidays approaching, there are plenty of hot items coming in the movie, music, and book realms. Of course, there are also some major TV show releases as well as a few movies scheduled to be released for Awards Season consideration (whatever that will be this year). Below I have listed the 10 titles that I am eager to check out the second they are released. On with the list!
