What’s Being Released In January 2021?

The new year kicks off with a whole host of brand new TV shows, movies, books, and home video releases. Of course, there are some returning favorites as well. Below I have singled out the 10 most noteworthy releases for the month. Scope it out!

1. Cobra Kai Season 3- It’s out now on Netflix!

2. Star Wars: The High Republic- The new multimedia Star Wars event kicks off Jan. 5 with the release of the “Light of the Jedi” and “A Test of Courage” books and the first issue of The High Republic Marvel comic series on Jan. 6

3. One Night In Miami- Regina King’s directorial debut looks to be a major Oscar contender. Jan. 15 on Amazon.

4. WandaVision- The first MCU series is finally coming out Jan. 15 on Disney+

5. Love And Monsters 4K- One of 2020’s best films hits 4K (and Blu-ray and DVD)

6. Resident Alien- A new sci-fi series based on the comic book of the same name. Look for it on SyFy on Jan. 27

7. Shadow In The Cloud- A new monster movie starring Chloe Grace Moretz. Out today.

8. The Little Things- A promising new thriller starring Denzel Washington, Rami Malek and Jared Leto. Jan. 29 on HBOMax.

9. Pieces Of A Woman- This Netflix movie is getting some Awards buzz as of late. Jan. 7 on Netflix.

10. The Dig- Netflix seems to be going all out this month with movies. This one is a book based drama with an all-star cast comprised of Carey Mulligan, Ralph Fiennes, Lily James and more. Jan. 15.
