Ranking The Conjuring Universe Movies

With “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” now in theaters and on HBOMax, it felt like the right time to take a look back on The Conjuring Universe filmography. Sure, I am not the only one doing this, but now it’s my turn! Below I have posted my own personal list of the 8 films in this series from best to worst. Enjoy!

As the summer season kicks in, people can expect a plethora of entertainment in the movie, TV, music, and event realms come June. Below I have picked 10 of the most noteworthy releases. Enjoy!
Continue reading10 Most Anticipated Summer 2021 Movies

The summer movie season (which occurs from May to August) is right around the corner and this year there will actually be big movies in theaters and through various streaming platforms. Below I have listed the 10 most anticipated titles (in my opinion) in no particular order. Keep in mind the dates could change at any time and more titles could be added to the summer movie season. Continue reading10 Thoughts On The 93rd Oscars

After the debacle that was the 2021 Golden Globes, The Oscars had to be better right? Not really. This was easily the worst Oscars show I have ever seen. Yes, even worse than the trainwreck that was hosted by James Franco and Anne Hathway. I can give the show some leeway given that it is taking place during a pandemic. Obviously, safety was of the utmost importance and the show had to be different, but the show forgot to be entertaining. Below I have posted 10 thoughts on the show as a whole.
Continue readingWhat’s Being Released In May 2021?

May is officially the start of the summer movie season and, as such, the studios are starting to release major titles. Viewers can also expect plenty of new offerings on the tube as well. This month is so packed that I had to exclude a few big titles such as “Cruella” and “Those Who Wish Me Dead” (both of which look very promising). Below I have listed the 10 most anticipated May releases. On with the list!

With 2021’s “Mortal Kombat” around the corner, I thought I’d take a look back at the 5 best video game adaptations. I would have gone for 10, but, let’s be real, there aren’t 10 good ones right now. The filmography of video game movies is pretty rough. Luckily, the future is looking brighter for video game films with some promising titles like “Borderlands” and the Mario animated film on the horizon. Keep in mind, I am not including documentaries about video games or movies about video games like “Tron,” “The King Of Kong” and “Ready Player One” here. That would have been an easier list with some truly great films. Instead, I’m only focusing on theatrical films based on video games. On with the list!
Continue reading10 Western Movie Recommendations

This past year I have been on a major western movie kick. I’ve always been a fan of the genre and have seen a good amount of westerns over the decades, but I decided to really dive deep into the genre this year. Now, I’m not going to bother listing any of the classics like “Unforgiven” or “Red River.” Instead, I’m going to list 10 movies that don’t quite get the appreciation they deserve. On with the list!
Continue readingRanking The MonsterVerse Movies

Now that “Godzilla Vs. Kong” has been released, it felt like the right time to rank the Legendary MonsterVerse movies. At the time of this posting, it’s unclear what is next for the MonsterVerse, but given the monster box office for GVK, it’s safe to assume we’ll be seeing more movies in the future (maybe a “Pacific Rim” crossover?). Below I have listed my personal ranking of the four MonsterVerse films from best to least favorite.
