It’s been a rather lousy year for TV and streaming series due to the industry strikes of 2023. Luckily, 2025 is looking stacked. With that said, 2024 still had some pleasant surprises, continuations, originals, and franchise turnarounds. Scope out my 10 favorites of the year below.
2023 proved to be a rather odd year for televised and streaming series. Several of the very best shows ended their run and several of the very best shows bypassed this year and are scheduled to resume production next year and or release next year. Luckily, there were plenty of new series that wowed viewers, but there were also several high-profile series that turned out to be colossal busts (I’m looking at you “Secret Invasion”). Below I have listed my 10 personal favorite series along with a host of notable favorites. In the words of The Doctor, “Allons-y.”
November may be filled with turkey dinners and holiday shopping, but there’s no shortage of entertainment options in all mediums. While there’s plenty more outside of the 10 listed options, these are the heavy hitters in my humble opinion.

Below I have singled out 10 releases that are catching my eye the most. Of course, there are other titles like “Antebellum,” “Coastal Elite,” “Woke,” and so on that look intriguing as well, but they just missed the cut. Continue reading →
While there are many films to anticipate in 2017, there may be even more to look forward to in the world of TV. This year will see buzzed about new series, the long awaited return of some of TV’s current best shows, and the resurrection of some of the greatest series and franchises of all time. While I could have easily done a top 20 here, I narrowed it down to just 10. On with the list! Continue reading →
