10 Random Recommendations Part 22

A new round of recommendations to keep you entertained!

1. Star Wars Squadrons- Anyone who has ever dreamed of engaging in Star Wars aerial combat and or missions will treasure this newest Star Wars video game.

2. Fargo- At long last one of the best shows on TV is back with a fourth season. After 3 episodes, this is already well on its way to being one of the best shows of 2020.

3. Cinnamon Coca-Cola- The tasty limited edition soda returns. It can be tough to find but it’s well worth tracking down.

4. Disney Movie Insiders- After a lengthy wait, Disney Rewards are back at Disney Movie Insiders. Now, you can use points accumulated from Disney home video purchases (among other items) to get Blu-rays, 4Ks, posters, and more.

5. American Ninja Warrior- The fun-filled and positive competition show is back with a shortened new season. 

6. Trey Anastasio- Burn It Down- A tremendous new compilation live album of the Trey Anastasio Band. On a side note, Trey is also doing 8 straight weeks of solo performances on Twitch at 5pm PST each Friday starting tonight!

7. Full Metal Jacket 4K- Stanley Kubrick’s classic Vietnam War film gets a stunning new 4K release. 

8. Antebellum- While rushed in the end, this is still an intense and all too relevant film starring Janelle Monae. The less you know going in the better. Now available on VOD.

9. The Chef Show- New episodes are now available of this addicting Netflix cooking show starring director Jon Favreau and Chef Roy Choi.

10. Solid Metal Nightmares: The Films Of Shinya Tsukamoto- Arrow Video recently released this deeply impressive Blu-ray box set containing 10 works of the cult Japanese filmmaker Shinya Tsukamoto- “Tetsuo: The Iron Man” (his most well known film), “Tetsuo 2: Body Hammer,” “Tokyo Fist,” “Bullet Ballet,” “A Snake Of June,” “Vital,” “Kotoko,” “Killing,” “The Adventure of Denchu-Kozo,” and “Haze.” Genres range from cyberpunk and samurai to horror and psychosexual. Viewers can expect numerous extras like commentaries and featurettes, and a small hardcover book, and a poster. Note: These wild, artsy and experimental films are certainly not for everyone!
