10 Anticipated Fall/Winter 2020 Series

Trek2 Mando

Although I am sure more series have yet to be announced for the remaining months of 2020, there’s already a lot to look forward to on TV and via streaming. Below I have listed the 10 shows I am most looking forward to this fall and winter in no particular order. Enjoy.

  1. The Mandalorian- Ever since season 1 ended, I have been aching for more episodes. WIth the news that several major characters in the Star Wars universe are set to appear in the sophomore season, my anticipation has only grown. October can’t come soon enough.

  1. Star Trek: Discovery- Star Wars AND Star Trek? Yes, you can love both and I do! Anyway, after the epic season 2 finale, the sky is the limit for what can be explored in DISCO now (no spoilers here for those that aren’t caught up).

  1. Fargo- “Fargo” is one of the best shows on TV and I eagerly await the long overdue season 4.

  1. WandaVision- Although details have been scarce after the hotly anticipated MCU series lately, I believe this is still on track for 2020. At least I hope it is! We need more MCU in our lives (now more than ever).

  1. Monsterland- I’m a sucker for horror anthology series and this new Hulu one has me intrigued.

  1. The Haunting Of Bly Manor- “The Haunting Of Hill House” was easily one of the best Netflix series of all time. How can one not be excited for this follow-up from Mike Flanagan?

  1. Helstrom- New Marvel series on Hulu. What more needs to be said?

  1. Animaniacs- As someone who grew up with this wacky toon as a kid, I am thrilled to see it being resurrected on Hulu.

  1. The Stand- Will this be better than the original TV mini-series? Will it have proper production values? Will it be a quality Stephen King adaptation? We shall see.

  1. Jupiter’s Legacy- As far as I know, this high profile sci-fi series based on the Mark Millar comic book series is set to hit Netflix sometime this year. I’m quite curious to see how this pans out.
