5 TV Shows In Need Of A Reboot

With a “Firefly” animated series now in the works, I’ve been pondering what other TV series are due for a reboot and came up with a list of 5. These are shows that still have plenty of life left in them and or are due for a new reboot. On with the list!

1. Sliders- In an age where multiverse stories are immensely popular, it’s baffling that this 1995 sci-fi series about traveling to parallel universes hasn’t been resurrected. 

2. Primeval- This British series about dinosaurs coming to the present via anomalies is ripe for a new incarnation. 

3. Tales From The Crypt- Given that horror is as popular as it has ever been, it feels like the right time for a new take on this horror anthology series. Plus, who doesn’t want more Cryptkeeper?

4. Masters Of Horror- This underrated horror anthology series is needed now more than ever. It’s the perfect venue for horror filmmakers to tell whatever horror stories they want to however they want to.

5. Babylon 5- Whether it’s a continuation of “Babylon 5” or another story set in the universe ala “Crusade,” there’s so much left to explore in J. Michael Straczynski’s space opera franchise.
