D23 Expo 2017 Wish List

Disney’s biennial convention/expo is back this Friday and, as you can probably guess, there are likely to be some epic trailer releases and big film reveals. While I won’t be attending D23 myself, I will, of course, be following the news that comes out of the evergrowing event. Below I have posted my wish list of what I hope to see and hear out of the Disney convention. Here we goooo!

  1. Star Wars: The Last Jedi- I’ve been hearing we won’t be getting a new trailer, but I’m still holding out hope it happens. At the very least it does sound like a new behind-the-scenes video will be seeing the light of day.

  1. Han Solo- In light of the recent behind-the-scenes drama, it seems unlikely we’ll get anything about the upcoming Han Solo movie, but maybe we’ll be treated to some footage?

  1. Star Wars Stand-Alone- Will we finally learn about a new Star Wars stand-alone movie? Time will tell.

  1. Tron Ride- There are rumors that the Tron ride in Shanghai could be making its way stateside. It could be a rumor, it could indeed be true. While we’re it at, maybe we can get some details on Tron 3?

  1. The Incredibles 2- It’s time we get a trailer for the highly anticipated Pixar sequel.

  1. Mary Poppins 2- It might be a little early, but it’s possible we’ll get to see something from next year’s sequel.

  1. A Wrinkle In Time- Will film finally fans get a look at filmmaker Ava DuVernay’s adaptation of the classic novel? We shall see.

  1. Marvel Land- Rumors have been swirling that Disney is planning more Marvel attractions for the California Adventure Park. I’d be shocked if Disney doesn’t say a thing about it during their Parks panel.

  1. Star Wars Land- There’s a lot of pictures and information floating around out there about the forthcoming Star Wars Disney expansion, but I would think we’ll get more concrete details at D23.

  1. The Rocketeer 2- It is highly unlikely this even gets mentioned, but I’m pulling for some details on the in development Rocketeer sequel.
