Top 10 Most Anticipated Summer 2017 TV Series

Game Of Thrones orange master

Normally TV is a dead zone during the summer, but this year several huge series will be hitting the small screen from May to August. Not only will there be new and returning favorites, but several great series (such as “Fargo”) will be continuing into the summer months. Below I have listed my personal top 10 most anticipated summer 2017 TV series. On with the list!

  1. The Defenders- To me, this is the event of the summer. I’m honestly more excited for this than any film this summer season.
  2. Twin Peaks- “The Defenders” may be most anticipated series, but “Twin Peaks” is a very close second. Not only am I excited to see David Lynch back in action, but I’m also thrilled that one of the best TV series of all time is returning.
  3. Master Of None- Season 1 was one of the funniest pieces of television in eons. Can season 2 follow suit?
  4. Orange Is The New Black- After an intense fourth season, I can’t wait to see where the show is headed in season 5.
  5. Sense8- The underrated sci-fi Netflix series returns for a second season. Hopefully there’s no sophomore slump here.
  6. Game of Thrones- Who won’t be watching this?
  7. The Gong Show- As a big fan of the wacky and wild original series, I’m curious to see how this new incarnation turns out.
  8. Blood Drive- SyFy doesn’t exactly have the best track record, but this could be a fun Grindhouse esque series.
  9. Glow- A new Netflix series about women’s wrestling? Color me intrigued.
  10. American Ninja Warrior- The ever addicting athletic obstacle course competition series never gets old.
