Twinkle Toes Lights Up New York Is Out On DVD April 5, 2016
From Skechers Entertainment (yes, the shoe company), comes a 71 minute animated film titled “Twinkle Toes Lights Up New York.” Obviously, this film isn’t going to have the large demographic appeal of a Pixar movie. It’s strictly aimed at families and children. And I mean strictly.
The story: Twinkle Toes can’t wait to spend her summer vacation on board a dance cruise with her pals Sporty, Jordan and a bunny named Walter (don’t ask), but her plans become derailed when her father gets an offer to direct a Broadway play. Now, Twinkle Toes has to begrudgingly travel to New York to help her dad put on a big show.
Parents who have to watch this with their kids are likely to groan at this shoe branded toon that tries embarrassingly hard to be hip, but kids who like stories that contain dancing, friendship, and goofy antics might find something to admire here.
Presentation: Widescreen Audio Track: Dolby Digital.
Extras:
* $10 off coupon for adult and kids Skechers shoes.
* 5 bonus animated Twinkle Toes shorts titled “Never The Friends Shall Meet,” “Fashion’s So Bright,” “For The Record,” “Hideous,” and “Romeo.”
