Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian celebrates its release in New York
FIRST-EVER NIGHT AT THE (WAX) MUSEUM SLEEPOVER WITH 50 PAJAMA-CLAD, SLEEPING BAG TOTING KIDS, AND UNVEILING OF A NEW EXHIBIT IN CELEBRATION OF THE ‘NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BATTLE OF THE SMITHSONIAN’ BLU-RAY AND DVD RELEASE AT MADAME TUSSAUDS NEW YORK
After braving a night at the (wax) museum – the first kids and adults to ever sleep at Madame Tussauds NY – will join actress Mizuo Peck and Crystal the Monkey for the unveiling of a new exhibit in celebration of the Blu-ray and DVD release of the duo’s box-office hit ‘Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian’ on Tuesday, December 1 at 10:00 am, at Madame Tussauds New York, 234 West 42nd Street (b/w 7th & 8th Aves.), Manhattan.
The new, interactive exhibit, which transports visitors to the set of ‘Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian,’ features wax likenesses of Amelia Earhart, Napoleon and President Abraham Lincoln and will be on display until January 3, 2010. In addition to helping launch the exhibit, the 50 children who participate in the special sleepover will be treated to a night of scavenger hunts, games, a private lesson about how wax figures are created and receive the first DVD copies of the film.
