March is arguably one of the biggest months (if not the biggest) in entertainment for 2023. Not only are there huge blockbuster movies, but there’s also major television series as well (along with other big entertainment releases and events). Let’s get down to it.
With the release of “The Mandalorian” season 3 a mere week away now, now felt like the opportune time to take a look back at all of the Disney era Star Wars live-action and animated series. Note: “Ewoks,” “Droids,” and the 2003 “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” are not included on this list as they were released prior to the Disney acquisition of Lucasfilm.
With “Star Trek: Picard” season 3 starting next week, now felt like the appropriate time to re-rank the Trek series. It’s been nearly 3 years since the last ranking and since then there have been 3 new series along with new seasons of “Star Trek: Picard” and “Star Trek: Discovery.”
Initially, I thought about making a list of 10 recommended documentaries of any genre, but as I started breaking it down, I thought I’d make a more specific type of documentary list. This list is entirely devoted to documentaries about movies. Although I could have listed more titles to be sure, the 10 films mentioned below are my personal favorites.
Whether you’re a film person, a video game person, or a TV person, Feb. is loaded with entertainment. Not only are there returning favorites and sequels, but there’s also some intriguing new titles as well. Really, there’s something for everyone this month. On with the list!
With the Oscar nominations due out Tuesday, it felt like the perfect time to make an Oscar centric list. A few years ago I posted a list of the 10 best Oscar winning movies so why not whip a list of the movies that should have won Best Picture? Of course this is entirely an opinionated conversational piece.
Given that the last installment of this series was back in August of last year, it felt like the right time to bring it back. Below you will find the usual 10 random recommendations of everything from albums and games to movies and a drink.
With “M3GAN” due out today for early showings, now felt like the perfect time to take a look back at the best Blumhouse horror movies. Believe it or not, it was difficult to narrow them down as they’ve produced so many horror classics over the years, but the 10 listed below are my personal favorites.
The new year is upon us and 2023’s cinematic lineup looks to be promising. Choosing just 10 was tough (especially since unknown titles are sure to be scheduled at a later date), but I’m happy with my picks here. On with the list!
