5 Recommended Fourth Of July Films

With today being the 4th of July, it feels only appropriate to whip up a list of films involving the national holiday. Below I have listed 5 movies I recommend viewing today.

1. Jaws- The quintessential summer blockbuster courtesy of Steven Spielberg. 

2. The Sandlot- A timeless family film about baseball, childhood, and friendship with one of the best 4th of July scenes ever put to film.

3. 1776- A grand musical about the Declaration Of Independence that doesn’t get nearly enough attention.

4. Silver Lode- What’s more American than a western? This overlooked film about mob rule is an intense classic western.

5. The Bay- If you’re in the mood for a gross and nasty little horror film, check out Barry Levinson’s found footage gem.
