Top 5 Most Underrated Steven Spielberg Films

Listen (you see what I did there?), we all know what the best Steven Spielberg movies are so I thought I’d do something a little different and focus on the Spielberg entries that don’t get enough love. On with the list!
1. Duel- Spielberg’s first film is actually a TV movie, but it still counts. This is an absolute thrill ride from start to finish.
2. The Sugarland Express- Spielberg’s true story based crime drama deserves more attention. This film also features one of Goldie Hawn’s best performances too.
3. The Fabelmans- Spielberg’s most personal story about family and cinema is among his finest work in the past 26 years. Worth seeing for the David Lynch cameo alone.
4. The Terminal- No one mentions this one and I have no idea why. Not only is the cast electric, but it’s a truly touching character piece.
5. Disclosure Day- Yes, it just came out, but it’s already underappreciated, misunderstood, and even downright dismissed by some folks. It’s an intense, urgent, and relevant sci-fi film with a lot on its mind.
