What’s Being Released In June 2026?
With summer in full swing now, the entertainment options are stacking up. Here’s my picks for June.
1. World Cup 2026- The biggest sporting event in the world is finally back June 11th-July 19th.
2. Jackass: Best And Last- It will be bittersweet to see the franchise end, but I’m sure we will all see it out laughing our butts off. June 26th in theaters.
3. Summer Games Fest/Xbox Showcase/Playstation State Of Play- With E3 gone, Summer Games Fest and the game studio presentations are the new game in town. I’m sure we will see plenty of reveals, trailers, and maybe even some shadow drops. We’ll find out soon. Playstation: State Of Play June 2nd, Summer Games Fest June 5th and Xbox Showcase June 7th.
4. Modest Mouse: An Eraser And A Maze- The rock band’s newest album in 5 years drops June 5th.
5. Supergirl- DCU’s tentpole release for 2026 flies into theaters June 26th.
6. Disclosure Day- Early word is that this original sci-fi film is one of Spielberg’s best in years. June 12th in theaters.
7. Goose: Big Modern!- After 2 albums last year, the indie rock/jam band outfit is back with another brand new album June 12th (on streaming and via physical releases).
8. Masters of the Universe- Truth be told, I don’t know what to make of this new take on the Mattel toy line. I get “John Carter” vibes which concerns me greatly, but Travis Knight does have a great track record. However it turns out, I’m curious to see it on June 5th in theaters.
9. Toy Story 5- Should the series have ended with the third film? Probably, but the fourth film was still rewarding. I’m sure the fifth installment will be another winner. June 19th in theaters.
10. The Strokes: Reality Awaits- One of the best rock bands of the 2000’s returns with their 7th album June 26th (on streaming and via physical releases).
