Ranking The Stranger Things Seasons

Now that Netflix’s pop culture phenomenon has wrapped, I thought I would take a look back at all of the seasons by ranking them from best to worst. Of course, everyone will have their own views. Feel free to share your own picks in the comments. Happy New Year everyone!
1. Season 1- The debut season was something special. The original sci-fi horror series felt like a breath of fresh air with its retro vibe, great cast and characters (like Hopper and Eleven), and intriguing storylines. It was the little series that could. I don’t think anyone could have predicted just how big the series was going to get.
2. Season 3- Arguably the most entertaining season with the mall setting, the introduction of fan favorite character Robin, Steve at his best, and the Mind Flayer possessed Billy.
3. Season 2- A worthy follow-up to the first season that features the introduction of Max and Murray, a fun Halloween atmosphere, a further exploration of the mythology, intense Demogorgon action, and Sean Astin as Bob.
4. Season 4- The fourth season certainly had its moments (namely Eddie and the now iconic “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” moment), but this season proved that sometimes less is more. Bigger is not always better and the show started to feel too bloated for its own good.
5. Season 5- It’s sad to say, but “Stranger Things” went out with a whimper in its final season with the corny dialogue, the lack of surprises, the cartoony CGI ridden battle in the finale, Linda Hamilton being entirely wasted, the list goes on. The memes were honestly more enjoyable than the final product.
