Star Wars: The Battle Of Endor Book Review

Young readers can revisit an iconic part of “Star Wars: Return of The Jedi.”

“Star Wars: The Battle Of Endor Book” is part of the World Of Reading line of books aimed at young children. This particular book is designed for Level 2 readers (first and second graders) and uses images from the “Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures” animated shorts as artwork (Tomatofarm and Powerstation Studios are credited here).

Writer Ella Patrick does a commendable job recounting the events of the third act of the sixth installment of the Star Wars series involving Luke’s battle with the Emperor, Han, Chewbacca and Leia on Endor attempting to destroy the Death Star 2 shield generator with the help of the Ewoks, and the epic space battle with Lando and the Rebel Alliance trying to destroy the second Death Star.

“Star Wars: The Battle Of Endor” is a great reminder that Star Wars is for everyone and that there should indeed be Star Wars books for everyone. For the young readers out there who are not yet able to tackle novels and more adult Star Wars material, these books are the perfect way to not only get your Star Wars fix, but to get more reading experience. If any readers out there find themselves confused by any Star Wars terminology, there is a handy word list/glossary at the back of the book for terms like AT-ST Walker and The Force.
