The Adventures Of Ozzie And Harriet Season 10 DVD Review

The tenth season of “The Adventures Of Ozzie And Harriet” brings a new character to the series.
In the 25 episode season 10, a new member of the Nelson family arrives both in real life and on the series with June Blair Nelson (the one time wife of David). Naturally, David getting hitched to June is the big through line of this season as the series explores how marriage has affected their lives and their family’s life.
Outside of that, there are stories revolving around husbands and wives, money (and money woes), David and June’s marriage, the fraternity renting a room to a Professor, David’s job, a dog, Rick’s love life, Harriet’s Women’s Club, Rick working as a short time milkman, a pet show, Wally, Barry the kid, and nostalgic memories of the past (AKA a partial clip show).
One would think this sitcom would be getting stale in its tenth season, but “The Adventures Of Ozzie And Harriet” found a new lease on life in season 10. David and June’s marriage really gave the series a new dynamic alongside a new avenue of storytelling. Not only was June a breath of fresh air to the series, but we got to see David grow as a character too. Seeing Ozzie and Harriet come to terms with change and their son becoming a man also added extra depth and heart to the series as well. As mentioned in the season 9 review, viewers really get to see this sitcom and real-life family grow before their very eyes in a rewarding fashion.
