What’s Being Released In March 2023?

March is arguably one of the biggest months (if not the biggest) in entertainment for 2023. Not only are there huge blockbuster movies, but there’s also major television series as well (along with other big entertainment releases and events). Let’s get down to it.
1. The Mandalorian- My personal favorite current series returns for a third season starting March 1 on Disney+. I’m ready for more Din Djarin and Grogu adventures.
2. Creed 3- Michael B. Jordan is back as Adonis Creed and this time the actor is taking on directorial duties. Oh, and Jonathan Majors co-stars. March 3 in theaters.
3. 95th Oscars- Will “Everything Everywhere All At Once” actually win best picture? Who will win Best Actor and Best Actress? We’ll find out March 12 on ABC.
4. Scream 6- Ghostface in New York? I’m in. March 10 in theaters.
5. John Wick: Chapter 4- After several delays and a 4 year break, I’m thinking yeah he’s back for a fourth round. March 24 in theaters.
6. Succession- Season 4- Although it’s a real bummer the fourth season will be the last, it will be fascinating to see how it all plays out. March 26 on HBO.
7. Lana Del Rey- Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.- One of the best modern musicians returns with a new album March 24.
8. Swarm- Donald Glover is back with a new horror series he co-created with Janine Nabers about a pop star and fanaticism. If the trailer is any indication, this will be quite the thrill ride. March 17 on Amazon Prime.
9. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds- Season 1- The best modern Star Trek series hits home video March 21.
10. History Of The World, Part II- In 1981 the classic Mel Brooks film “History Of The World- Part 1” was released. Now, in 2023, a star studded sequel series on Hulu is about to see the light of day March 6.
