10 Most Anticipated 2022 Films

Looking ahead to 2021, there seems to be something for everyone with comic book movies, anticipated sequels, biopics, new animated titles, and original films. There were many films that could have been on this list, but I managed to pare it down to the 10 below.

1. The Batman- After seeing what director Matt Reeves did with the “Planet of the Apes” series, I can’t wait to see what he’ll do with The Dark Knight.

2. The Flash- I’m glad The Flash is finally getting his own movie, but I’m more excited to see Michael Keaton back as Batman/Bruce Wayne.

3. Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness- I’m looking forward to “Thor: Love And Thunder” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” but I’m really curious to see what Sam Raimi does in the MCU.

4. Elvis- I don’t always love the work of Baz Luhrmann, but as an Elvis fan, I’m ultra curious to see The King get a big screen biopic.

5. Apollo 10 ½- A new Richard Linklater film is always cause for celebration.

6. Halloween Ends- How will David Gordon Green wrap his Halloween trilogy? We’ll find out in October.

7. Strange World- I’m a huge fan of pulp adventure stories and this new animated Disney film looks to be right up my alley.

8. Mission: Impossible 7- The rare franchise that gets better as it goes. Will 7 follow suit?

9. Babylon- Little is known about Damien Chazelle’s latest film aside from it allegedly being an all-star film about the transition of silent films to talkies.

10. Scream- Will the fifth installment reinvent the franchise again? We’ll soon find out.
