What’s Being Released In April 2021?

April looks to have a nice mixture of movies, shows, and albums. Below I have listed the 10 most intriguing offerings of the month. 

1. Mortal Kombat- Without a doubt the most buzzed about April release is this new movie based on the video game franchise. April 16 in theaters and on HBOMax.

2. Greta Van Fleet- The Battle At Garden’s Gate- One of the best modern rock bands returns with a new studio album. April 16

3. Shadow and Bone- This new fantasy series based on a book series could be the next big Netflix hit. April 23.

4. 93rd Oscars- Let’s hope the biggest award ceremony fares better than the embarrassing 2021 Golden Globes. April 25

5. The Nevers- A new Joss Whedon created series. Look for it on HBO/HBOMax on April 11.

6. Sasquatch- A wild sounding 3 part docuseries about Bigfoot? Count me in. April 20 on Hulu

7. Without Remorse- Originally set for theaters, this film based on the Tom Clancy book of the same name is going to Amazon instead on April 30.

8. Concrete Cowboys- A new modern western starring Idris Elba. What more needs to be said? April 2 on Netflix.

9. The Mitchells Vs. The Machines- This Phil Lord and Chris Miller produced animated film was initially going to theaters under the name “Connected,” but it has a new name and a new home on Netflix April 30.

10. Spaceballs 4K UHD- The Schwartz is strong with this one. April 13.
