ER: The Complete Twelfth Season

ER continues with its well written medical drama and adult drama situations in Season 12.While Noah Wylie is still stuck in Africa, the rest of the ER crew (Goran Visnjic, Maura Tierney, Sherry Stringfield) continue to deal with a variety of medical and personal situations in Season 12.  If you have followed ER, you know these characters pretty well by now and the challenge for writers is to keep the drama fresh, which they do in most episodes with great guest stars (John Leguizamo and James Woods have great guest star roles) and new personal in the hospital.  I do think that this season contains a few more rehashed situations than in the past, but the drama is gripping in its overall impact for viewers.

Extras contained on the disc set are sprinkled throughout the episodes (marked with an icon in the dvd menu) and contain additional or deleted scenes.

Still a great value and with the same good book slipcase packaging, “ER: The Complete Twelfth Season” will be a welcome addition to loyal fans of the show.
