Not only do the Globes tend to nominate outside the norm picks at times, but they celebrate both film and television. Plus, they serve alcohol at the show so everyone’s more relaxed. 2025 turned out to be a rather rewarding year for cinema. There was a great deal of variety across the board (especially when it came to indies). Truth be told, it was challenging to narrow it down to 10. Any number of films could have taken the last couple spots. As per usual, I still have a few films left to see.
