The Academy Awards is the gold standard of award shows, but the Golden Globes are easily the most laidback and fun. Not only do the Globes tend to nominate outside the norm picks at times, but they celebrate both film and television. Plus, they serve alcohol at the show so everyone’s more relaxed.
