10 Random Recommendations Part 50

Let’s not waste any time and get into it.
1. 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple- I despised “28 Years Later,” but Nia DaCosta’s sequel turned out to be the best film in the entire series. Worth seeing for the third act and Ralph Fiennes alone.
2. Bruce Springsteen- Nebraska 82: Expanded Edition- If you love this album by The Boss, you’ll love this box set featuring the remastered album, outtakes, a concert, and the much hyped Electric Nebraska.
3. Rise Of The 49ers- Aside from Tom Brady inserting himself into this documentary series needlessly, this is an engrossing documentary about the glory years of the 49ers.
4. Kanopy- There are A LOT of streaming services out there, but this one is sneaky good. It’s an on-demand streaming platform that you can access free via library cards. There’s a ton of great indie and international cinema on here.
5. Wonder Man- MCU at its finest. I could watch Ben Kingsley and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II shoot the breeze all day.
6. Chain Reactions- A superb documentary on “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre” that makes you rethink the entire film in new ways.
7. The Rip- Joe Carnahan doing what he does best.
8. Chris Ballew- If you’re a fan of the alternative rock band The Presidents Of The United States Of America, head on over to chrisballew.org to listen to tons of solo material by frontman Chris Ballew, side projects, early demos, the list goes on.
9. Super Chix- There seems to be a chicken sandwich joint on every corner these days, but this one stands tall. If you have one near you, scope it out.
10. Goon- Now that the world has hockey fever, check out this fantastic hockey comedy. Avoid the sequel at all costs though.
