10 Random Recommendations Part 49
It’s been a few months since the last installment so why not whip up a new one?
1. Helldivers 2- Believe the hype. This is an addicting sci-fi action co-op third person shooter video game.
2. Mr. Scorsese- Not enough people are talking about (or watching) this absorbing documentary series about Martin Scorsese’s life and career.
3. Laurel And Hardy: The Definitive Restorations Volume 2 Blu-ray- If you appreciate classic comedy, pick this set up.
4. Where To Land- Hal Hartley’s latest indie film is a real return to form. Available to own on Blu-ray through halhartley.com or to stream on Vimeo (rent or buy).
5. Miles Davis- Live/Evil- Recently I posted a 10 Recommended Jazz Albums list as I have been getting into the music genre more as of late. This was the album that really got me into exploring Jazz more. This Jazz Fusion album is certainly not for everyone, but if you like Jazz-Rock, jam bands, or more exploratory rock, check it out.
6. The Beatles- Anthology 4- A fantastic new release of demos and rarities from the archives.
7. Cloud- An underrated, wild, and violent Japanese thriller about a reseller.
8. Nerds Gummy Clusters- I may be late to the party, but this is legitimately one of the best candies around.
9. Nine Inch Nails- Tron: Ares Soundtrack- The album of the year as far as I’m concerned.
10. Better Watch Out- If you’re looking for a new Christmas movie to watch, this “Home Alone” esque horror film is worth seeking out.
