What’s Being Released In December 2025?

As 2025 comes to a close, the studios are releasing some major titles and award worthy titles. Read on to find out what’s in store

1. Marty Supreme- Josh Safdie’s new film starring Timothée Chalamet as a table-tennis player is getting a lot of awards buzz. Look for this one Christmas day in theaters. 

2. Avatar: Fire And Ash- The third Avatar film is sure to be a box office juggernaut as it arrives just before Christmas Dec. 19th in theaters. 

3. Father Mother Sister Brother- Indie film buffs, rejoice! Jim Jarmusch’s latest film hits theaters Dec. 24th. 

4. Five Nights At Freddy’s 2- The anticipated horror sequel (which really should have come out at Halloween) gets a Dec. 5th release theatrically.

5. The Game Awards 2025- Come for the awards, stay for the trailers and reveals. Dec. 11th on multiple platforms including YouTube. 

6. Fallout: Season 2- Prime Video’s breakout hit hits the small screen Dec. 17th.

7. Is This Thing On?- Bradley Cooper’s new film about a stand-up comedian is already receiving praise and could very well be vying for Oscars. Dec. 19th in theaters.

8. Stranger Things: Season 5- The final 2 batches of episodes will release on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve on Netflix.

9. Boogie Nights 4K- My personal favorite Paul Thomas Anderson film is at long last coming to 4K Dec. 16th.

10. Pink Floyd- Wish You Were Here 50th Anniversary- One of Pink Floyd’s most celebrated albums gets a brand new edition loaded with alternate tracks and live material. Dec. 12 on physical media and digital platforms.
