What’s Being Released In September 2025?

September is generally one of the least eventful months of the year entertainment wise and this September is no exception. With that said, there’s still entertainment to look forward to from sports to big screen releases. On with the list!
1. NFL- The long offseason is nearly over. The 2025-2026 season kicks off Thursday Sept. 4th on NBC.
2. Star Trek: Khan- Here’s something exciting for Trek fans- a brand new audio drama series about Khan Noonien Singh set between the TOS episode “Space Seed” and “Star Trek 2: The Wrath Of Khan.” Sept. 8th on podcast platforms.
3. Chad Powers- Glen Powell is everywhere these days. His latest project is this football comedy TV series. Sept. 20th on Hulu.
4. One Battle After Another- Paul Thomas Anderson’s new film. What more needs to be said? Sept. 26th in theaters.
5. The Conjuring: Last Rites- The fourth and “final” Conjuring film hits theaters Sept. 5th as the Halloween season kicks off.
6. Beavis And Butt-Head- Mike Judge’s animated classic returns on a new platform (Comedy Central) on Sept. 3rd.
7. Tron: Ares Soundtrack- While we wait for “Tron: Ares” in October, the soundtrack by Nine Inch Nails will surely tide us over if the single “As Alive As You Need Me To Be” is any indication. Available Sept. 19th on physical media and digital platforms.
8. Marvel Zombies- The new animated horror series spun off from the comics and “What If…?” hits Disney Plus Sept. 24th.
9. The Long Walk- Early word is this Stephen King adaptation is not to be missed. Sept. 12th in theaters.
10. Tulsa King Season 3- Taylor Sheridan’s entertaining Sylvester Stallone starring gangster series returns for a third season Sept. 21st on Paramount Plus.
