Ranking The 8 Predator Films

2025 looks to be a big year for the Predator franchise with the just released Hulu animated feature “Predator: Killer Of Killers” and the forthcoming theatrical film “Predator: Badlands”. Let’s take a look back at the franchise so far with a ranking list, shall we? And yes, I’m including the 2 AVP films here.

1. Predator- A true classic sci-fi action film that introduced the world to an unforgettable cinematic alien creature.

2. Predator: Killer Of Killers- Can we just give Dan Trachtenberg the keys to the Predator franchise from here on out? This animated anthology film digs deeper into the Predator mythology and offers up a fresh new story along the way.

3. Prey- This back to basics entry completely revitalized the franchise.

4. Predator 2- A respectable and frankly underrated sequel. You can’t go wrong with Gary Busey and Danny Glover either.

5. Alien Vs. Predator- The Paul W.S. Anderson versus film has its moments, but it certainly never lived up to the comics (or what fans envisioned).

6. Predators- A star-studded cast featuring Adrien Brody, Walton Goggins, and Laurence Fishburne is completely wasted in this poorly scripted sequel.

7. The Predator- What was Shane Black thinking? An unwatchable entry that nearly sank the entire franchise.

8. Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem- One word- Predalien.
