Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 Wishlist

It’s been a little quiet on the Star Wars front lately, but big things are in store as Star Wars Celebration Japan is about to take place this weekend. Naturally, all of us SW aficionados have our hopes and dreams about what will be announced and I thought I’d share my wishlist of what might or might not happen. On with the list!

1. The Mandalorian And Grogu Trailer- It’s likely the Mando and Grogu panel will feature a trailer. Hopefully the convention goers aren’t the only ones who get to see it and it will be released online as well.

2. A New Animated Series- Outside of a third season of “Star Wars: Visions” and “Tales Of The Underworld,” it’s unclear what the next animated project will be. Hopefully we get a surprise reveal.

3. Star Wars Zero Company- It’s probably a foregone conclusion, but I think we’re all curious to see actual gameplay from this turn based tactics game and not just cutscenes.

4. Star Wars: Visions Season 3- Can we get a trailer and release date from the panel? Pretty please?

5. New Star Wars Film Title- After “The Mandalorian And Grogu,” we don’t know what the title of the 2027 theatrical project will be (which will be the same year as the 50th anniversary of Star Wars). Perhaps a tease and or casting reveals will occur at the ‘Grogu’ panel?

6. Ahsoka Season 2 Teaser- The sophomore season just started filming a few weeks ago, but we could very well get a sneak peek at what’s to come.

7. Lucasfilm Publishing- Naturally, we’ll get details on forthcoming announced novels, but we’re all hoping for some exciting new book reveals.

8. A New Star Wars Video Game- Will we learn of another game outside of “Star Wars Zero Company?” I’m still holding out hope for “Star Wars: Battlefront 3,” unlikely though it may be.

9. Hasbro Panel- I’m sure all the toy collectors out there are eager to see what Black Series and Vintage Collection figures are unveiled.

10. New TV Series- We know the second seasons of “Andor” and “Ahsoka” are coming. After that, it’s a complete mystery as to what live-action TV series there will be. Might we get a tidbit or two about the future of SW series? Is there truth surrounding the horror project rumor? Time will tell.
