What’s Being Released In March 2025?

2025 really kicks into full swing in March. There’s major film and TV releases, Hollywood’s biggest night and the start of a new season for a particular major sport. There’s something for everyone and that’s what you like to see.

1. Daredevil: Born Again- It will be hard to top the Netflix “Daredevil” series, but I’m just glad Charlie Cox and company are entering the MCU at long last. March 4 on Disney+.

2. Godzilla Vs. Biollante 4K- Cue the Godzilla roar! A fan favorite Godzilla film gets the Criterion 4K treatment! March 18.

3. Mickey 17- One of modern cinema’s most original filmmakers (Bong Joon-ho) is back with what looks to be a wildly unique sci-fi story. March 7 in theaters.

4. Black Bag- A Steven Soderbergh spy film? Sign me up. March 14 in theaters. 

5. MLB 2025 Season- It feels like it’s been an eternity since the Dodgers won the World Series, but baseball is finally coming. The season kicks off March 18 with 2 games in Tokyo but March 27 is technically opening day.

6. The Darkness: Dreams On Toast- The rockers are back with a new album March 28th.

7. 2025 Oscars- Will “Anora” win Best Picture? Will Demi Moore get an Oscar for a horror film? We’ll find out the results on March 2nd. 

8. Tom Petty: Heartbreakers Beach Party- The long unavailable documentary by Cameron Crowe is getting a streaming release on Paramount Plus March 11.

9. Magazine Dreams- Originally scheduled to be released back in 2023, the film was shelved after star Jonathan Majors became embroiled in legal troubles. Back when the film premiered in Sundance, there was a lot of chatter about Majors giving an Oscar worthy performance. Now, we get to see what all the hype was about when the film gets released in theaters March 21. 

10. Death Of A Unicorn- This bizarre A24 film starring Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega could go either way, but I’m certainly intrigued. March 28 in theaters.
