Ranking The MCU Series And Specials (2025)

With “Daredevil: Born Again” nearing release (March 4th!), it’s about time for an updated ranking of the MCU Series. Just to note, the Netflix Marvel series are not included here otherwise “Daredevil” would be number 1 without question. On with the list!

1. WandaVision- The best MCU series and it’s not even close. The way it injects TV history alone gives it a top spot. Let’s not forget the award worthy performance by Elizabeth Olsen who managed to make Scarlet Witch one of the best characters in the entire MCU.

2. Werewolf By Night- A gripping adult horror-mystery tale. I want more Jack Russell and Man-Thing!

3. Loki- Convoluted though it may be, this was a largely consistent two-season time centric series filled with wonderful characters (Mobius and Sylvie especially).

4. Echo- The best MCU series no one talks about. The scenes with Maya Lopez and Kingpin are electric.

5. Ms. Marvel- The tone is all over the place and the ending is anticlimactic, but Iman Vellani is so good in the title role that you won’t care about the show’s shortcomings.

6. She-Hulk: Attorney At Law- The supremely divisive series is not without its flaws, but there’s so much to admire here (especially the Daredevil inclusion, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, and the weird Kevin Feige sequence).

7. Moon Knight- Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke are incredible, but the rushed plotting lets it down in the end. Still, the series at least attempted something different from a storytelling perspective.

8. Hawkeye- An overly cartoony series that has its moments (namely Yelena and Pizza Dog).

9. Agatha All Along- Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey Plaza are noteworthy, but this show lost steam pretty quickly. I never want to hear “The Ballad Of The Witches’ Road” again.

10. The Falcon And The Winter Soldier- The first episode is legitimately good and offers up quality characterization with the two title characters. The rest…

11. The Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special- A lot of people love this holiday special, but I found the comedy to fall completely flat. Not even Kevin Bacon could save it.

12. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man- Do we really need another Spider-Man take with the Tom Holland and Spider-Verse universes currently going? No. This alternate reality animated series is largely uninspired and it tries way too hard to be hip, but it does have a few memorable scenes so far (see Daredevil).

13. What If…?- The first season was enjoyable and the second season was very hit-and-miss. I don’t know what was going on with season 3, but it was virtually unwatchable.

14. Secret Invasion- From the wasted character deaths to the overblown ending, everything about this series is godawful. Samuel L. Jackson deserved so much better.
