What’s Being Released In November 2024?
If you want to keep your mind off the Presidential race or need a break from family get-togethers at Thanksgiving, you’ll be happy to know there are plenty of entertainment/art options in November in various mediums. While there’s certainly more that could have made the list, the 10 listed here are the most noteworthy to me.
1. Dune: Prophecy- While the wait for “Dune Messiah” lingers on, Dune fans get a special treat this month with the release of this prequel series about the Bene Gesserit. Nov. 17 on HBO.
2. Gladiator 2- Ridley Scott returns to the world of Gladiator with a star studded cast featuring Pedro Pascal, Denzel Washington, Paul Mescal, among others. Nov. 22 in theaters.
3. The Creep Tapes- Fans of “Creep” and “Creep 2” will be overjoyed to learn that a new TV series focusing on 6 Peachfuzz tapes is on the way Nov. 15 on Shudder and AMC+.
4. Yellowstone- Season 5 part 2 of “Yellowstone” is FINALLY premiering Nov. 10 on Paramount Network/CBS.
5. Moana 2- The hotly anticipated sequel to one of Disney’s best films of the past decade hits the big screen Nov. 27.
6. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chernobyl- The FPS sequel video game is one of the biggest video game releases of November. Look for it on Xbox Series S/X and Windows Nov. 20.
7. Weezer: Blue Album 30th Anniversary- Weezer’s debut album gets a brand new edition with demos, live recordings and BBC radio recordings. Nov. 1
8. Emilia Perez- The Oscar buzz is heavy with this musical starring Selena Gomez. Nov. 1 in theaters and Nov. 13 on Netflix.
9. Beatles ‘64- A new documentary about The Beatles first visit to America. Need I say more? Nov. 29 on Disney Plus.
10. Wicked: Part One- The stage musical is a modern classic, but how will the big screen adaptation fare? We’ll find out Nov. 22 in theaters.
