What’s Being Released In July 2024?
Summer is in full swing and July is bringing out some of the biggest releases of the year including but not limited to the 10 listed below.
1. Deadpool And Wolverine- The year’s most buzzed about movie is almost here. Will it live up to the hype? Will it smash box office records? Will Deadpool save the fading MCU? We’ll find out July 26 in theaters.
2. Cobra Kai: Season 6 Part 1- Although I hate that the final season is being divided into 3 parts, I am stoked to see how one of the best shows of the past decade wraps up. July 18 on Netflix.
3. Star Trek: Prodigy Season 2- The best Star Trek show that you probably aren’t watching returns with 20 episodes on July 1 on Netflix.
4. MaXXXine- It’s going to be hard to top “Pearl,” but I’m ready to see how Ti West’s “X” trilogy closes out. July 3 in theaters.
5. San Diego Comic-Con 2024- With Marvel Studios doing a panel this year, this year’s SDCC might return to its former glory and be THE hot spot for pop culture news.
6. Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F- After the lousy third installment, hopes weren’t exactly high for part 4. The shockingly great trailer, however, leads me to believe that maybe we’ll get a proper sequel this time around. July 3 on Netflix.
7. Phish: Evolve- The beloved jam band is back with a brand new studio album. What more needs to be said? July 12 (digital and physical releases).
8. Longlegs- Early word is this Nic Cage starring horror film is one of the year’s best. July 12 in theaters.
9. Receiver- “Quarterback” was one of my personal favorite series last year and this follow-up looks to follow suit. July 10 on Netflix.
10. Perfect Days Criterion 4K- Wim Wenders quietly delivered one of the best films of his entire career last year with this beautiful character study. In stores July 16.
