10 Random Recommendations Part 41

It’s been a few months since the last installment so it felt like a new round of media recommendations was due. 

1. I Saw The TV Glow- This indie is certainly not for everyone, but this strange and surreal story about nostalgia, identity, and being your true self is one of the year’s best films.

2. A Gentleman In Moscow- Quite possibly the best show of 2024 that no one seems to know about. Ewan McGregor is in peak form here.

3. The Quarry- I may be late to the party, but this interactive horror game is a must for fans of the genre. Currently available on Xbox Game pass.

4. Monster- An underrated gem from Hirokazu Kore-eda.

5. The Beach Boys- If you ever wanted to know more about the classic rock band, this documentary is a good starting point. 

6. Pearl Jam: Dark Matter- This new album is a return to form for the grunge rockers.

7. Lolla: The Story Of Lollapalooza- A fascinating 3 part documentary series about the history and evolution of the famed music festival. 

8. The Listener- A quiet and emotional film from director Steve Buscemi that stars Tessa Thompson.

9. Arcadian- An intense under-the-radar creature feature starring Nicolas Cage.

10. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2- This stunning video game sequel surpasses the original in every way.
