What’s Being Released In April 2024?

After a busy March, April shows no signs of slowing down in the entertainment world with major releases in the music, TV and film departments. Scope out 10 of the most noteworthy releases below (in no order).

1. Pearl Jam: Dark Matter- The grunge band’s 12th album promises to be a harder rock album. April 19 on physical media and streaming.

2. Star Trek: Discovery- The fifth and final season beams onto Paramount+ starting April 4th.

3. Fallout- The hit post-apoc video game series is getting a TV adaptation. Will this be the next big sci-fi TV hit? April 11 on Amazon Prime Video.

4. Knuckles- A 6 episode “Sonic The Hedgehog” spin-off series set between the second and third films. I’m intrigued. April 26 on Paramount+.

5. Taylor Swift: The Tortured Poets Department- Pearl Jam isn’t the only one dropping a new album April 19th. Yes, the biggest name in music right now is dropping her new album the very same day.

6. NFL Draft- After a huge free agency period, all eyes are on the Draft which runs April 25-27.

7. Andor Season 1 4K UHD- The best Star Wars TV series finally comes to home video April 30th.

8. Civil War- Early word is Alex Garland’s new film is a masterful chilling dystopian nightmare. April 12 in theaters.

9. The Sympathizer- A new A24 HBO series with Robert Downey Jr. playing multiple roles? Sold. April 14 on HBO and Max.

10. Sasquatch Sunset- Who doesn’t want to see an oddball dialogue free sasquatch family comedy? April 12 in theaters
