Top 10 Dreamworks Animated Films

With “Kung Fu Panda 4” due out this week, it felt timely to do a Dreamworks Animation centric list. Below I have listed my personal 10 favorite Dreamworks films. Let’s kick it off.
1. Shrek 2- “Shrek” is a classic and is on this list, but the sequel is even better thanks to the inclusion of the scene stealing Puss In Boots.
2. Wallace And Gromit: The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit- People forget that Aardman used to be tied to Dreamworks. The iconic duo’s first feature film was a joyous affair that also deservedly won the Oscar for Best Animated Film.
3. Puss In Boots: The Last Wish- A deeply surprising and emotional sequel that surpasses the original in every way.
4. Orion And The Dark- Released on Netflix this year, this animated feature is already an underrated entry in the studio’s filmography.
5. The Prince Of Egypt- The 1998 musical about Moses has stood the test of time.
6. Shrek- William Steig’s children’s book came to life in a truly magical way back in 2001 when this now iconic franchise launched.
7. Kung Fu Panda 3- The first two installments are both enjoyable action-adventures, but the third time is the charm for this ongoing series.
8. How To Train Your Dragon- This fantasy franchise has certainly soared for Dreamworks (pun intended), but the first installment remains the best.
9. The Bad Guys- A stylish “Ocean’s 11” esque heist story that has its heart in the right place.
10. The Road To El Dorado- For the soundtrack alone.
