10 Random Recommendations Part 40

New month, new set of recommendations for your reading pleasure.
1. The Zone Of Interest- This was the last of the 2024 Best Picture Nominees I had left to see and I haven’t been able to shake it since. It’s a deeply unsettling movie that sticks with you.
2. Coca-Cola Spiced- This tasty new Raspberry flavor is Coke’s best new flavor in years.
3. Orion And The Dark- There hasn’t been a lot of press for this one which is a shame as it’s a surprising and rewarding Charlie Kaufman scripted animated film.
4. The Expanse- Now that the complete series is available on Blu-ray, it’s the perfect time to binge watch this space opera. Easily one of the best sci-fi series of the past 25 years.
5. Green Day: Saviors- Not only is this a return to form for the rock band, but it’s easily their best work since “21st Century Breakdown.”
6. Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice- Before “Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2” is released in May, now is the perfect time to play this compelling and challenging storytelling adventure video game.
7. Goose Ted Tapes 2024- For those wanting to hear what new drummer Cotter Ellis brings to the table, this collection of improvised jams gives you a taste.
8. Dune: Part 2- You probably don’t need me to recommend this, but it’s the best movie of 2024 thus far.
9. The Completely Made-Up Adventures Of Dick Turpin- If you find yourself missing “Our Flag Means Death,” this new Noel Fielding starring comedy might fill that void.
10. Universal Classic Monsters- Limited Edition Collection 4K- What do “Creature From The Black Lagoon,” “Dracula,” “Frankenstein,” “The Mummy,” “The Wolf Man,” “The Invisible Man,” “The Bride Of Frankenstein,” and “Phantom Of The Opera” have in common? They’re all classic horror at its finest.
