10 Random Recommendations Part 39
New year, new recommendations.
1. Doctor Who Big Finish Audio Dramas- If you’re a dedicated Doctor Who fan who can’t get enough of the universe, you’ll be happy to know that there’s more to absorb. As of this moment, the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th Doctors all have new DW adventures in audio drama form. That’s not even including the numerous spin-offs featuring fan favorite characters and Torchwood. It may be daunting to know where to start but there’s plenty of forums and resources out there to help. There are also free audios available on Spotify, BBC Sounds and other platforms.
2. Babylon 5: The Complete Series Blu-ray- If you have yet to see this sci-fi classic, now is the perfect time to do so with this new Blu-ray release. If you have seen it before, relive the magic all over again.
3. American Fiction- There’s a reason this movie is an Awards contender. It’s that good.
4. Captains Of The World- A fantastic behind-the-scenes documentary series on the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
5. The Darkness: Permission To Land…Again- One of the best rock albums of the past 25 years gets a special 20th anniversary deluxe edition with B-Sides and live performances.
6. Cheetos Pretzels- Sounds weird, but they are surprisingly delicious.
7. Godzilla Minus One- Easily one of the best Godzilla films ever made.
8. A Disturbance In The Force Blu-ray- A highly entertaining documentary about the “Star Wars Holiday Special.”
9. Timeless Heroes: Indiana Jones And Harrison Ford- For whatever reason there’s barely been any press for this documentary film. It’s a shame because it’s a moving tribute to the Indiana Jones franchise and Harrison Ford’s career that also boasts tons of new behind-the-scenes footage.
10. Fanatics- If you’re into sports team jerseys like myself, this website is the best place to get them. There’s daily deals, rewards, and frequent clearance sales.
