What’s Being Released In January 2024?

After a busy fall/winter, things slow down a bit at the start of a new year. With that said, there’s still plenty to look forward to in the entertainment world.
1. True Detective: Night Country- HBO’s acclaimed anthology series makes its long awaited return Jan. 14. This time around it’s set in Alaska and stars Jodie Foster.
2. Echo- All 5 episodes of this “Hawkeye” spin-off series will release on Disney+ and Hulu Jan. 9.
3. Ted- Everyone’s favorite foul-mouthed teddy bear returns in a prequel series on Peacock. Jan. 11.
4. Blood Simple Criterion 4K- One of the most underrated Coen Brothers films gets the Criterion 4K treatment. Jan. 9.
5. Green Day: Saviors- The rock band returns with a brand new album Jan. 19.
6. Masters Of The Air- A new Spielberg/Hanks produced WWII series starring Austin Butler, Ncuti Gatwa, and Barry Keoghan? Sign me up. Jan. 26 on Apple TV+.
7. The Brothers Sun- A new Netflix series starring Michelle Yeoh. What more needs to be said? Jan. 4.
8. Night Swim- Who is down for a pool based Blumhouse horror movie? Jan. 5 in theaters.
9. Zorro- Did you know a Spanish Amazon Zorro series is coming out Jan. 19? If not, now you do.
10. The 81st Golden Globes- Comedian Jo Koy hosts the film and television awards show that is always worth watching. Jan. 7 on CBS.
