What’s Being Released In June 2023?

June is a big month for all forms of entertainment, but especially theatrical films. There’s something for everyone this month whether you love adventure, sci-fi, or comic book movies. Enough of my ramblings, on with the list!

1. Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny- Harrison Ford’s fifth and final outing as Indiana Jones is the event of the summer as far as I’m concerned. June 30 in theaters. 

2. Foo Fighters: But Here We Are- The first Foo Fighters album after the passing of Taylor Hawkins is sure to be one of the most talked about albums of the summer. June 2.

3. The Idol- HBO’s new buzzworthy series starring The Weekend is a giant question mark, but it will be curious to see how it fares for sure. June 4 on HBO and HBOMax.

4. Secret Invasion- The new MCU series starring Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury hits Disney+ June 21.

5. The Flash- Early word is that this is one of the best comic book films to date. We’ll find out if that is true June 16 only in theaters.

6. Black Mirror- One of TV’s best sci-fi anthology series makes its long awaited return on Netflix June 15th.

7. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2- The best modern Trek series returns for a second season that will include a crossover with “Star Trek: Lower Decks.” June 15 on Paramount+.

8. Diablo 4- 11 years after the release of “Diablo 3,” the fourth installment of the action RPG series will be released on Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X, and PS4 and PS5 June 6.

9. Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts- “Creed 2” director Steven Caple Jr. steps into the director’s chair of this new TF film that serves as both a sequel to “Bumblebee” and a prequel to 2007’s “Transformers.” June 9 in theaters. 

10. Xbox Summer Showcase and Summer Games Fest 2023- With E3 out this year, there are 2 notable video game events in its place with Xbox Summer Showcase 2023 (June 11) and Summer Games Fest 2023 (June 8). Hopefully, there will be new game reveals, trailers, and release dates for both events.
