One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest Collector’s Edition

The repackaging department has been busy with this new, “collector’s edition” of the 1975 Best Picture, produced by Michael Douglas, directed by Milos Forman, and starring Jack Nicholson. For those not content with just this great film, Warner is offering this new package , filled with extra goodies for fans of the film.  Besides the original film, a new 87 minute retrospective documentary is included with interviews that include Milos Forman, Ken Kesey and Michael Douglas.  There is also a new interview with Douglas, along with a lot of movie collectables; a 52 page booklet, picture cards of cast, a 52 card deck, a reproduction of the original press book, and 4 mini-reproductions of theatrical posters. Commentaries are provided by Forman, Douglas and co producer Saul Zaentz.  A few additional scenes and a trailer round out this package.

As far as  know, no remastering was done for this edition but this dvd rerelease coincides with the blu-ray release.  If you haven’t yet got a copy of this major award winning film, this package might just be the ticket for you.
