Beauty and The Beast Blu-ray

A large part of Disney’s financial comeback, this modern animated film received critical acclaim, earning Academy Award nominations for best picture  and an Oscar for Best song. Featuring an outstanding voice cast (Robby Benson, Angela Lansbury, among others), this film ranks right up there with Snow White and Cinderella in Disney’s catalog of great animated films.

A strong story , charming characters, excellent traditional animation artwork and computer animation blending, humor and pathos all work together to create great entertainment for the whole family.  I know that’s said a lot but with this film its true.

This special blu-ray edition includes 3 versions of the film, a dvd copy, plus an entire blu-ray disc of extras making for a great value.  Some of the extras that are featured included:

Disney recognizes how important this film is to their library and threw in as much extra material they could for this release.

Technically, the discs are superb with stunning picture and sound, which is one of Disney’s strength’s in all their blu-ray releases.

You can’t do wrong with purchasing this disc set.  A fair price, tons of extras, many versions of the film plus blu-ray excellent picture and sound.  Available for a “limited time”, get this one to add to your classic animation collection.
